5 Years of Free Earth - New Monthly Show on Babaganousha Radio

I am very happy to announce this new monthly show by the Free Earth Crew. A very warm welcome to the Free Earth Crew from my side. Let us all have a great time. A special thanks goes out to Bren who made this new monthly show possible.

5 Years Of Free Earth is a radio show brought to you together by Free Earth DJs. This segment commemorates their involvement in the inducing scenery, of psychedelic music and arts.
The journey never stops and we hope to celebrate this inspiration with the world. Here’s a monthly mix by each DJ, stretching all the way till the end of 2016. It’s been a good five years, big cheers to this one and on to the next! All you have to do is tune in, sit back, and relax.

Founded by Ambient Energy, this project would have been nothing without the help and support of some close friends and family.It started out really simple.The initial stages of newfound consciousness sparked a curiosity to experiment with different elements. Audio and Visual were key attractions, along with the fundamentals of Peace, Love, Unity and Respect. As the canvas grew, these 6 elements stood and represented the basis for past, present and future mischief.

5 Years on, this creative platform is still unfinished and never will be. With new additions covering different styles of music, the Free Earth now represents a more versatile feel. Fellow organiser / DJ Ark has also been a key player. A visionary in adding more colours and perspective to the canvas, the adventure never ends.

DAN EMMS / DAN 151/ TriptEk (ACID TEST RECORDINGS, WALES/UK)  Tokyo based Dan Emms is one of Asia’s liveliest, unpredictable and opinion-splitting electronic DJs. With the ability to both create and decimate a dancefloor in a split-second, there is never a dull moment when this friendly creature brings his unique brand of internationally-influenced, yet distinctively Welsh wrongness to the party; the damage level generally only depending on what kind of mood and mental state he turns up in and how much money he has left in his pocket.  Having first discovered techno and psytrance in the Welsh shires, Dan's interest in dance music later took him onto spells living in Goa, New Zealand and Australia. Before settling in his dream city of Tokyo, Dan also spent seven years terrorising Thailand's underground music scene. Based in Bangkok, he regularly tormented parties of all shapes and sizes across the country, at all times of day and night. Eventually though, the lure of Tokyo and its diverse nightlife culture was simply too much for him to resist. As age and his love of steaks have continued to take their toll on his physical and cognitive agility, his music has started to slow down and, like the man himself, get even phatter. Nowadays his sets have started to focus as much on ass-shaking progressive techno much as his trademark, no-holds-barred style of psytrance. However, both genres provide him equal opportunity to express his fun-driven outlook on life and love of squelchy sounds.  A Shapeshifter of a DJ, Dan has always divided opinion wherever he has managed to blag himself into. However, for all the comedy and mis-adventure, don’t write Dan of as a joke DJ or the Donald Trump of the party – this man will usually gather his senses, curb his enthusiasm and reign his mouth in just when required and deliver a set to rock any floor at any time.
