Started playing when i was 18 in local clubs and pubs before tumbling across a vortex and being instantly hooked. After moving
back to the garden Route a friend and I formed "Clarion works" a roduction company in Plettenburg bay and hosted local acts and
then little known new comers NANO records in awesome party nvironments.
Acts we hosted included names such as Hydrophonic , rotoculture , Commercial Hippies , Cyan , Sim 1and The Electric nt. Played support for major acts in the area for the likes of ave Mac (DMMT) and Connecto (BPM) before moving down to Cape own. There i played support and opening for major acts like Dick Trevor and Tristan at Cape Towns legendary "Upstairs".
After moving to the UK i played an opening set at the first ever Italian Music festival Sonica to an amazing crowd and then at a Beartrap’s utdoor party in Wales, opening for Broken Toy and along side Rinkadink and DJ Spencer(Alchemy records) , Ecliptic and Deviant pecies. Shortly after moving to Beartrap Productions I was booked for parties with international acts such as Psysex & Marchello. My style can be described as morning and melodic as my slots are usually always openers or closers of the party. I like to build my ets slowly creating musical pictures and try to really take people on a journey. Am now doing a weekly show on PsyStream.net ( ww.psystream.net) every monday night where we shake off the monday blues and feature the best sound around from established nd emerging artists. Previous shows have included :DMMT , Rex (Nano), Simo (Alchemy) and emerging artists such as NoiseAnomalie , Cold Projject and Electric Mirror.
Ishikawa - Cosmic Meltdown
e did it again! I'm very happy to annouce a new blasting set from Ishikawa from India.
Ishikawa is Angad Kapoor from b00mbay, India. At the tender age of 14, he first came into contact with psychedelia listening to Infected Mushroom's Psycho. As the years went by he grew up and so did his music collection, and now at the age of 19 he has been mixing for 3 years using softwares like Virtual Dj and Traktor.
Initially he was blown away by melodic psy by the likes of Cosma (R.I.P), Sesto Sento and Protoculture but now he connects to just about all kinds of psychedelia with his main focus being on the twilight hours playing music by artists like Shift, Azax Syndrom, Phatmatix and Menog. A firm believer in the music being enough to take you anywhere you want to go, his sets range from euphoric morning sets, to bone crunching dark music. His mixes have been regularly featured on a number of radio streams now, Radio Schizoid (India), Pump Up The Volume (France) and now Babaganousha (Germany).

The Sonichaos album presented a very melodic approach that fitted the times back than. This album was released through Planet Music, a sub-label of B.N.E, a major player in the internationalTrance scene. From that moment on Mishel started spining music around the world and from exploringthe international markets and trends Mishel felt that he must bring his ideas into life but with a whole new perspective and so he changed his musical direction and progressed to what everyone knows today as “Safi Connection”. |

| hi im erik from rotterdam holland i started in 86 with drums some piano and a littlebit on guitar(because of my brother) i played with my brother till 91 at my parentshome, i was a really metalhead first tracks of synth and earlyhousestuff i heard in the late 80s but it had not that boost of today,with stomping beats and swelling leads so when i moved from my parentshome and went to rotterdam, i became familiar with the rotterdam techscene it was hard and ruff...but ok at the begin 90s i started to buy(midtownshop) records from trance to techno when i bought 2 cheap akai turntables (beltdrive),i started mixing with my ownmade mixer (i studied electronics) i spinned that deep house trancie and germanstyletrance till minimaltechnosh*t i played on for 5..6 years for fun: till: a dj became popular here and spinned also deep tranciestuff but not my style it was tiesto,i quited, because i know the early ruff years of trancestuff was over (to pitty) and i was still drumming(lol) in 2001 i heard the first goasound(necton)....oWow whats that? i felt in love with it until 2003 it was shitty to find this music on the net then i loaded soulseek and........Whalla thx for all the peeps (u know who u are) who seeded me and upload good tracks this days goa is more powerfull for me to created that kind of mix iwanned many years before so just listen to my mix.....and i will tell u a STORY |
